My wife, Sylvie and I are both from winemaking families. The Peligri Champagne House is in its second generation with the third generation already making its roads in continuing this great family tradition. Our three daughters have all inherited our passion for winemaking. Our vineyard is mostly located in the Cote des Bar winegrowing region, in Colombey Les Deux Eglises (Haute-Marne department), in Dolancourt (Aube department) but also in Vindey, our native village located on the Cote des Blancs wine region. Having taken over from our parents in the mid 1980', we purchased the old butter factory in the village in 1988, and transformed the building into what today is a magnificent modernised Champagne cellar: a 'must' to visit when you are in the area. Today, we operate 12 hectares and sell 73,000 bottles mainly on the French market and from our cellar door. We grow Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grape varieties. This helps us to get a large range of diverse flavours.
